Marcy’s insight and over 20 years of experience as a non-profit performing arts producer and executive director of social justice and arts organizations strategically guides ECTP’s audience outreach, marketing, fundraising, and visioning to ensure that the work is accessible, available, and affordable to audiences of all incomes and ethnic and gender backgrounds.
Marcy also maintains a consulting practice founded in 1990 providing interim leadership, fundraising, strategy and marketing to nonprofits and artists. Consulting projects include Berkeley Symphony, Anna Deavere Smith Pipeline Project, Theatreworks, Klein String Competition, and Peninsula Lively Arts. She is currently Interim CEO for Music for Minors. She’s served as Executive Director for the Klein String Competition, UC Student Association, Bay Area Leadership Foundation, Teatro ZinZanni, and Midsummer Mozart Festival, and in leadership roles for the Encore Network, Pacific Environment, California Shakespeare Theater and ODC Dance. Marcy holds an MBA from John F. Kennedy University. She is a proud enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Marcy is never happier than when she is throwing dinner parties to raise funds for causes she believe in. |
